How Time Bank Cards work
Click a Time Bank Card during a hand and the extra time is added to your shot clock immediately — useful for a genuinely close decision you don’t want to rush. Unused time from a card doesn’t carry over to the next street or the next hand, so it’s a one-time boost, not a stockpile.
How many you get
You start each session with a preset number of Time Bank Cards based on the game you’re playing, and you can use them whenever a decision calls for it — no restriction on which street or which hand.
Spending Time Bank Cards wisely
Since unused time doesn’t carry over, there’s no benefit to hoarding cards for a hand that never needs them — use one when a decision is genuinely close and you want the extra seconds, rather than saving them indefinitely out of habit.
Spending them wisely
| Good use | Wasteful use |
|---|---|
| A genuinely close final-table decision | An easy fold you didn’t need to think about |
| A big pot where the read matters | Habitually clicking one on autopilot |
Treat Time Bank Cards like a limited resource, because that’s exactly what they are — the temptation is to burn one on the first mildly tricky spot, and then have nothing left when a genuinely close, high-stakes decision shows up twenty minutes later. Save them for the moments that actually deserve the extra time.
