Open the lobby for the first time and the number of choices can feel like a restaurant menu with no prices. The good news is that the list of 7xl poker games is easier to sort than it looks. Most of it comes down to how many cards you hold, how fast you want to play, and whether you want a fixed session or a tournament with a clock.

The core 7xl poker games at a glance
Five formats make up the backbone of the room, and they run around the clock on GGNetwork infrastructure:
- Texas Hold’em, the classic, as cash games and tournaments.
- Omaha, including PLO, PLO-5 and PLO-6.
- Short Deck, a 36-card version with its own hand rankings.
- Rush & Cash, where a fold drops you straight into a new hand.
- All-in or Fold, one decision per hand.
On top of those, there are lottery-style Spin & Gold sit-and-gos, a long tournament calendar and daily leaderboards. The 7XL Poker Room page gives the short version of each, and we’ll go a bit deeper below.
Texas Hold’em: the default among 7xl poker games
Each player gets two private hole cards, five community cards arrive in three stages, and the best five-card hand wins. It’s the most-played format and the one with the most strategy material, which is why we suggest it to new players. You can play it as a cash game or in tournaments, and the details are on the Texas Hold’em page. If you’re brand new, our Hold’em guide is a good first read.
Omaha: PLO, PLO-5 and PLO-6
In Pot Limit Omaha you hold four cards and must use exactly two of them with three from the board. Betting is capped at the size of the pot. PLO-5 and PLO-6 deal five or six hole cards, which means more combinations and more swings. If you like big pots and can handle variance, this is your corner of the lobby. See the Omaha, PLO-5 and PLO-6 page for the rules, and our post on PLO starting hands if you want to avoid the usual beginner traps.
Short Deck: a smaller deck, flipped rankings
All cards from 2 to 5 are removed, leaving 36 cards from 6 to Ace. With fewer cards, hands connect more often, and a flush beats a full house. The game plays fast and aggressively. The Short Deck page explains the rule set, and our guide to Short Deck hand rankings will save you from a very expensive mistake.
Rush & Cash and cash games
A regular cash game has no clock and no elimination. You can sit, top up or leave whenever you like, which suits anyone who wants control over their session. Rush & Cash speeds that up: fold, and you’re dealt into a new hand immediately, so you play far more hands per hour. The Rush & Cash page also describes a daily leaderboard promotion based on points per hand. For the basics of regular tables, see cash games online.
All-in or Fold: the quick one
There’s no raising, no calling and no postflop play. You either move all-in or fold, and the hand resolves in seconds. It’s a different skill, based on stack sizes and push ranges rather than reading a flop. It works well on a phone and in short breaks. More on the All-in or Fold page.
Spin & Gold and tournaments among the 7xl poker games
Spin & Gold is the lottery-ticket format: small buy-ins, a random multiplier and a rare chance at a big prize. Treat it as entertainment with high variance, not a plan.
Tournaments come in many shapes. The tournament guide lists ten of them: guaranteed, freezeout, N-Stack, progressive bounty, rebuy, satellite, turbo, shootout, AoF and private. The weekly flagship is the GGMasters, and our tournament schedule post shows how daily, weekly and specialty events fit together.
Leaderboards and extras around the 7xl poker games
Beyond the formats themselves, the room layers promotions on top. The daily Hold’em and PLO leaderboards reward volume rather than a single lucky run, and a Spin & Gold leaderboard does the same for that format. Mystery Bounty events pay hidden bounty amounts, with a jackpot bounty of up to $250,000 advertised on the Mystery Bounty page. There’s also a Bad Beat Jackpot for cash games, which pays when a strong hand gets beaten.
Promotions change, so the lobby and promotions section always have the current details. Think of the leaderboards as a bonus for playing the games you’d play anyway, not a reason to play more than you planned.
What every format has in common
Whichever of the 7xl poker games you pick, a few things stay constant. Everything runs from one account and one Cashier, and deposits and withdrawals currently go through Bitcoin and USDT. Our deposit page has the current numbers. Tools like PokerCraft, which logs every hand, and Smart HUD, which shows opponent stats at the table, work across the lobby. And the client runs on Windows, Mac, iOS and Android, with the same account everywhere. If you haven’t installed it yet, start from the download page.
It also helps to know that no format is “the easy one” to win money in. Hold’em has the deepest strategy base, which is why it’s a good place to learn, but the opposition there is also the most experienced. The faster formats feel simpler, yet they can eat a bankroll quickly. Pick on enjoyment and fit, and let results follow from study.
A sample first week across the 7xl poker games
If you want a plan instead of a menu, here’s one that works for many beginners. Spend the first couple of sessions at low-stakes Hold’em cash tables, getting used to the lobby and the pace. Add a freeroll or a small tournament on the weekend to feel how blinds rise. Try one session of Rush & Cash to see how quickly hands come. Then, only if you’re curious, look at Omaha or Short Deck for a few dozen hands at the lowest stakes. By the end of the week you’ll know what suits you, and you’ll have risked very little finding out.
How to choose among the 7xl poker games
- New to poker? Start with low-stakes Hold’em cash games.
- Want bigger swings? Try PLO once you’re comfortable with Hold’em.
- Short on time? Rush & Cash or All-in or Fold fit short sessions.
- Like a goal and a clock? Pick a tournament, and read the format label first.
Our format comparison goes deeper on picking by style. Whatever you choose, size the stakes to your bankroll, as covered in our guide to bankroll management.
Every table involves real money and real risk, and no format guarantees a profit. Play only with money you can afford to lose. If gambling stops being fun, BeGambleAware offers free support. This content is intended for players aged 18 and over.
