Why the qualifying hands differ by format
A straight flush in Hold’em and a royal flush in Omaha are calibrated to roughly similar rarity given each format’s different number of hole cards — Omaha’s extra cards make big hands more common overall, so the jackpot bar is set correspondingly higher to keep it meaningful.
